Monitoring system with automatic log analysis

Hello guys,

I’m starting my studies in monitoring and I’m wanting to develop a network equipment monitoring project using SysLog, and I’ve been researching and found Graylog quite interesting, but I was wondering if it’s possible to save some specific logs so I can run a script on top Of this log so that the system can “solve” the problem alone without the need for an analyst. I am very lazy on the subject, if anyone can help me and give me a light how to do it I will be grateful.

Graylog is no silver bullet and it also doesn’t come with magic fairy dust (that would be Graylog Enterprise).

So unless you elaborate on your use cases and requirements, the answer is most probably no.
