Should the difference between the values located in /var/lib/graylog-server/journal/graylog2-committed-read-offset and /var/lib/graylog-server/journal/recovery-point-offset-checkpoint vary between servers? I’ve noticed that the counts for the servers are always the same numbers in the GUI (System/Nodes --> Nodes ) but different at the file level.
Yes, they could/should be different.
Maybe you’re using a reverse proxy or load-balancer and the wrong rest_transport_uri for your Graylog cluster, so that the web interface will always query the same Graylog node…
Thanks, it was the latter. I mistakenly had the load balancer name versus the individual host for the rest_transport_uri.
