How to cycle active write index?

I’m not familiar with computer languages - how do you “cycle active write index” on Graylog? What commands do you use?

Hello,

From Graylog’s UI, navigate to System/Indices. Click on your index of choice.
Under maintenance drop down. Click on Rotate active write index
