We wanna change to Graylog 3.0 and sidecar 1.0.
But how can we dynamically add logfiles to the filebeat.
We work with autoscaling and we need the same feature like the tags in the older versions.
You’ll have to add some internal tooling (or a shell script on the actual nodes) that calls the Graylog API and assigns the proper config to the host, the tags functionality is not part of the 1.0 sidecar unfortunately.
Thats not good.
Why will be a good feature deactivated? That was a step backwards in a time, where automatic deployment and autoscaling is a standard in this technical world.
