Graylog 2.5 Collector sidecar token

Hi,
I’m using Graylog 2.5 Collector sidecar (v.0.1.8) on Windows Environment.
I don’t understand how sidercar is abled to connect to graylog via ReST; does it require a token authentication?

Looking in the sidecar log I see

I have the same message for PUT and msg="[UpdateRegistration] Failed to report collector status to server:

Can somebody help me to understand the strange behavior?
How does it works?
