Are there any changes to the system that were made before this issue happened?
I would start looking at Graylog logs to see what that is telling me - post up relevant parts using the </> forum tool to make it readable. There are a bunch of basic command lines here that will will give you some diagnostic information as well as help you to give more information to the community so e we can help solve your problem.
