Can't start input on Graylog v3.0.0-alpha.4+6e0b9cd

Hi. I’m trying to start an input (syslog-udp) on Graylog v3.0.0-alpha.4+6e0b9cd, and the input won’t start - keep getting an error.:

Input 5c12652cfda6f8328d863e6b has failed to start on node 89264d2e-e05a-4fc2-9b4e-edc75c6cc5f6 for this reason: »bind(…) failed: Permission denied.«. This means that you are unable to receive any messages from this input. This is mostly an indication for a misconfiguration or an error. You can click here to solve this.

Looks like some kind of permission error…

Any ideas?

Thanks.

let me guess. You try to use port 514 for your input?

Please read the FAQ: http://docs.graylog.org/en/3.0/pages/faq.html#how-can-i-start-an-input-on-a-port-below-1024

Just to make sure - you are aware that you run alpha software and not stable release?
