Alerts not displaying

Hi there,
I’m trying to configure alerts for the first time. I don’t have any “notifications” configured because I don’t have access to a url to post to or a mailserver (Unless I can use a public one, which would be cool if someone could point me in the right direction!)

Right now I have a condition configured as:
Configuration: Alert is triggered when there are more than 200 messages in the last minute. Grace period: 5 minutes. Including last 150 messages in alert notification. Configured to repeat notifications.

However,
looking at my dashboard of all messages by the minute, I can see a few instances where the threshold has passed but the Alerts page says there are no unresolved alerts.
Any tips?
