There is a 7 year old post here about this: [Query parameter to enable search auto refresh](https://community.graylog.org/t/query-parameter-to-enable-search-auto-refresh/13092)

But I thought I’d bring up the topic again in 2026 + Graylog 7.x

I have some saved searches that I always want the Auto-Refresh to start in the “enabled” state. It would be wonderful if there was a way to save this mode with the Search itself, or add it as a URL query parameter, e.g. `&refresh=1`

Anyone have further thoughts on this?

Good idea! Could you create an issue in our repository ([Sign in to GitHub · GitHub](https://github.com/Graylog2/graylog2-server/issues/new/choose))? This way we can track the feature request. Doing this should be pretty simple, the only thing I am wondering though is, if we should sync the state/setting for auto-refresh with the URL bi- or uni-directionally (should we add/remove the query parameter when the user toggles auto-refresh).
