I would like to understand the traffic metrics, I don’t find documentation on this topic.
For example, what is org.graylog2.traffic.output ?
Is it the number of bytes stored in ES ? But on which period ? On the last 30 days ?
When these metrics are reset ? It seems to be reset after a service restart, but are there other cases ?

I believe those metrics are for Graylog’s Enterprise/License.
Maybe this might help
org.graylog2.traffic.output what is written to Elasticsearch after all processing is done.
From the Enterprise/Overview section, looks like its for the past 30 Days.

Yes, it reset after graylog service is restarted.
