# Not able to reinstall graylog

Hello,

Previously I have installed graylog2.4 and upgrade it to graylog3.0. Because of some reason I have to uninstall the graylog.Now I am trying to install graylog2.4 ,but it gives me error as below-

root@dnsfw01:/opt# dpkg -i graylog-2.4-repository\_latest.deb  
dpkg: regarding graylog-2.4-repository\_latest.deb containing graylog-2.4-repository:  
graylog-3.0-repository conflicts with graylog-2.4-repository  
graylog-2.4-repository (version 1-6) is to be installed.

dpkg: error processing archive graylog-2.4-repository\_latest.deb (–install):  
conflicting packages - not installing graylog-2.4-repository  
Errors were encountered while processing:  
graylog-2.4-repository\_latest.deb

you need to remove the 3.0 repository package to be able to install the 2.4 repository package.

I have already removed 3.0 repository package .But I am getting the same error.

What’s the output of `dpkg -l | grep graylog` ?
