MapperParsingException[failed to parse [offset]

I seem to be getting slammed with these error messages. I’m not sure how to go about resolving it.

The message field “offset” contains some string that was supposed to be a numeric value, but obviously contains (a lot) of trailing backslash characters.

Try to make sure that the “offset” field only contains numbers and optionally create a custom index mapping to use a fixed schema for your messages: http://docs.graylog.org/en/2.2/pages/configuration/elasticsearch.html#custom-index-mappings
