# Integrate my system with graylog

Hello, does graylog have a connection API so that another application can call this API and receive feedback? I would like to integrate my system with graylog so that instead of searching for logs in graylog, I can do this in the system itself and generate a report with the information contained in that log.

Yes, anything you can do in the GUI you can do via api. Have a look at the api browser [Graylog REST API](https://go2docs.graylog.org/5-0/setting_up_graylog/rest_api.html) if you only need to do simple things check out the simple search api as it lets you do everything in one api call.
