# Indexes and streams

i have default index set and two streams writing to this index set. as an admin i can use the search option and see all the messages from both streams.  
today i added a new index set and a new stream writing only to the new stream.  
now when i use the search option i cannot see all the messages from the older streams.  
only if i enter the stream itself.  
please explain why and how can i fix it  
thanks

default index set:  
Index shards 4  
replicas 1  
Max. number of segments 1  
index rotation message count 20000000 do nothing

second index set  
Index shards 4  
replicas 1  
Max. number of segments 1  
index rotation by size 50G delete index

if you need more info please tell me how to extract it  
thaks

streams:  
All messages index set Default index set  
logs index set Default index set  
logs1 index set new index set

problem solved  
the secret is to recalculate index range.
