Documentation on software version compatibility for upgrades

Hi,

I see that the upgrade guides generally have compatibility notices for supported MongoDB and Elasticsearch versions. I would like to note that

  • In 4.x upgrade guides, the maximum Elasticsearch version is reported as 7.1. Could this be a typo, since 4.1 and later at least explicitly support the latest 7.10 release? (correct me if I am wrong!)
  • All upgrade guides (I did not check them thoroughly though) lack a suggestion on the supported Java version. AFAIK, this should be Java 8 for 4.1 and earlier, and 17 since 4.2. Would it make sense to add this to the guides, if it is correct?
