# Cisco Meraki Syslog format

Hi

Cisco Meraki is sending syslog messages in Epoch/Unix format time instead of human readable format, and graylog is ignoring them. Is there any way to setup Graylog to not ignore this messages?

I’m using Graylog 3.0.1+de74b68 on a RHEL7.

you can use the processing pipeline to take the epoch and format that to the correct date. You should use the RAW input for that and work with the processing pipeline to normalize your logs.
