Hello to all,

I am trying to update my Graylog Server to 4.3.2 because I have the notification in my web interface.

As usual, I make the following command :

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

And I restart the Linux server (Ubuntu 20.04 Server) but the notification does not disappear.
This is what I have been doing since the beginning and with each update the notification does not reappear but here it is not the case.

Do I need to add a source to sources.list ? Download the new version of Graylog manually ? If this is the case please give me the good links that I do not find in the documentation.

Here is information about the package version :

Thank you very much for your help

Wish you a good day

Best Regards,

Alexandre

> Hello @danmassa7 I’ll try to make this easy for ya +1 First of all The latest package is Graylog-4.2.7, If this is what you want then the following will work for ya. NOTE: Make sure you have backups of your configuration file. So, what I’ll try to do is sum it up on how to upgrade Graylog. Here are the steps I execute in order. 1.Before Upgrading make sure your system is fully updated, try not to use the Y flag incase you see a package updating that may affect you system (i.e. Elasticse…

Stop GL service, Clearing your repo cache, insure you have new package, install /update new version.
If you have you repo for GL pined you may need to adjust it.

Edit: Here is another doc’s on this subject [here](https://docs.graylog.org/v1/docs/operating-system-packages#update-to-latest-version1:~:text=version%20of%20Graylog.-,The%20update%20basically%20works%20like%20a%20fresh%20installation%3A,-sudo%20rpm%20%2DUvh)
